Our warm thoughts this year go to our former Festival committee member and dear friend Mark Wheeler whom I promised on his death bed that we are going to have another festival! He was “a living example” for us and many others how powerful the gift is “to give and receive art” and how it can change our lives and thoughts. Mark, you gave the gift that continues to give.
When we feel music it enhances the thought patterns in our minds. It touches certain parts of our emotion that other stimuli do not.
We are doing this festival with an amazingly small budget and the most wonderful part is that we are doing this together with you, our Lynden Community! We couldn’t be more thankful for all of you who are supporting us in many different ways. We feel that our community is ready to “Groove” and enlighten our thoughts before winter! Let’s use music to celebrate our beautiful town of Lynden!!!
