Performing at the Opening Ceremonies! 12pm – October 12, 2022
Chet Noll was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and only recently moved to Lynden with his wife Joyce and brother Landon. He studied piano at Whitworth College in Spokane with Margaret Ott and graduate work at the University of Montana, Missoula with Dennis Alexander. As a cellist, he played with the Spokane and Missoula Symphonies. Chet has built many baroque harpsichords and replicas of early pianos. He is a composer of modern classical music and has taught private piano lessons since college. He built a career as a software architect to support his musical and woodworking passions. As a software developer, he was pleased to discover that writing beautiful melodies and elegant lines of computer code had surprising similarities in thought, intent, and problem-solving.
